Apple Peanut Butter Dog Treats

Did you know that apples make a great supplement to your dog’s diet? This has been fully recognised by experts in dog nutrition.
Do dogs consume apples? The answer is yes, provided you feed it intelligently and appropriately.
Apples make excellent crunchy treats for your dog. Apples with the skin on are high in plant compounds (phytonutrients) that may prevent people from some forms of cancer. They’re high in vitamins A and C, as well as fiber. Apple seeds, on the other hand, contain cyanide, therefore you shouldn’t let your dog eat the core. Though a few apple seeds will probably not hurt your dog, the negative effects might build up over time if your dog is permitted to consume apple seeds on a frequent basis.

NOTE: When you offer a new meal, certain pets may respond differently. If you’re hesitant about trying anything new, consult your veterinarian first.
Step One
Using water, rinse the apples. Remember to take off the sticker!
Step Two
Remove the apple’s skin using a potato peeler.
Step Three
Cut the apple into slices using a knife.
Step Four
Cut out apple shapes from the slices using your apple-shaped cookie cutter.
Step Five
Apply a dab of peanut butter to the apple-shaped snacks’ “stems.” I applied the peanut butter with a chop stick.
Serve and have fun! Because apples go bad fast once chopped, I recommend feeding your pet a few (depending on their size) and eating the rest or sharing it with your kids!
